Hebertella occidentalis

Found in the Richmondian. Mid-size brachiopod, rectangular in shape. Identified by both valves being globular, rays running straight to the margin and no coarse cross-hatching of rays with growth lines. Often confused with Plaesiomys subquadratus and Glyptorthis insculpta.
